How to restore your account

Download and install the latest version from the App Store.
Please use only the official link.

Open the installed app. Choose language and click on the Continue

The following pop-up will appear.

So, let's restore already existing account. At the bottom of the page click on the Import account.

Choose Manually tab if you want to copy and paste or type your Seed into the blank text field. Or Scan tab if you want to scan the pairing code from the desktop or online app.

If you entered the correct Seed, it would display your Waves address.

Choose the Account name and wallet password then repeat the password.

To finish the process, click on Continue.

Choose and confirm a Passcode for additional security.

At the final stage, read carefully the conditions and if you are agree, put the checkboxes.

After that click on the Confirm and Begin.

If you have done all of the above, you are forwarded to the user interface.

If you find an address that does not belong to you and your balance is empty, it means that you have incorrectly restored access. To gain access, you need to repeat the restoring procedure.

Note: The seed phrase always contains 15 words with spaces between each word, except the beginning of the first word and the end of the last word. It is not possible to recover your password. However, you can restore your wallet only from the seed phrase, and choose a new password.

If you lose both your password and your seed, there is no way to recover your money. This is why we ask you to save your seed phrase on paper.

Wavesplatform does not have access to users accounts and seed phrases.

How to pairing accounts between devices

Also, you can synchronize your accounts between Mobile apps and desktop or online accounts. So, to sync your account from the desktop or online app, just open Waves app > Settings > General > Export account.

After clicking on the Show Pairing Code you will be getting QR-code. After that, open mobile app and click on the Scan pairing code and scan QR-code.
