How to Create an Account

Download and install the latest version from the App Store.
Please use only the official link.

Open the installed app. Choose language and click on the Continue

Please take some time to understand some important things for your own safety. We cannot recover your funds or freeze your account if you visit a phishing site or lose your backup phrase (aka SEED phrase). By continuing to use our platform, you agree to accept all risks associated with the loss of your SEED, including but not limited to the inability to obtain your funds and dispose of them. In case you lose your SEED, you agree and acknowledge that the Waves Platform would not be responsible for the negative consequences of this.

To continue, click on the Next. We strongly recommend reading all articles before you begin.

After all click on the I Understand.

The following pop-up will appear.

So, let's create a new account. Click on the Create a new account.

Choose your address avatar. When you have done so, choose account name and wallet password then repeat the password. Click on the Continue.

Now, it's an important step to backup your account. To start the process click on the Back Up Now.

Never provide your backup phrase to anyone except the official Waves client. We recommend that you write the backup phrase on a piece of paper and store it in a secure place. Do not store the backup phrase unencrypted on any electronic devices.

You can restore your wallet only from the seed phrase. If you lose your seed, there is no way to recover your money. This is why we ask you to save your seed in the safe place.

Carefully read the warning and only then click on the I understand.

After that, you will get account seed phrase. Waves wants to make sure you actually wrote down the backup phrase. Therefore, Waves will ask you to verify the backup phrase before proceeding. Create several copies of the seed phrase and click on the I've written it down.

Сonfirm your seed phrase with the correct sequence of words (just click on the words). If you have made a mistake just click on the Back and start the process again.

After finishing, click on the Confirm.

Choose and confirm a Passcode for additional security. After that, you can enable additional protection by using Touch ID or Face ID.

At the final stage, read carefully the conditions and if you are agree, put the checkboxes.

After that click on the Confirm and Begin.

If you have done all of the above, you are forwarded to the user interface.


We strongly recommend creating the backup copy, since only with these words you will be able to restore access to your account in case of loss or theft of the device. Although you can get back to the backup process (not recommended). For it open your Profile.

In the opened profile, click on the Backup phrase to begin the process.
